Anyone who is interested in Congress passing a COVID relief bill and economic stimulus should be heavily invested in the outcome of the Senate runoff elections in Georgia.
Right now, Mitch McConnell is holding up a bipartisan compromise bill that would provide vital relief AND there are strong indications that, in the spirit of economic sabotage against the incoming Biden-Harris administration, he’ll block all economic stimulus and pandemic relief for the foreseeable future if he retains his Republican Senate majority.
We have a chance to stop McConnell’s obstruction in Georgia, by winning both runoff elections and flipping control of the Senate.
But Election Day is less than 4 weeks away … and we still need to raise another $100,000 before next week, if we’re going to reach all the voters we need to turn out to win these races!

There’s so much riding on Georgia and, yes, the rest of the country is depending on Georgia voters to make the right choice. But just because these races have such profound national importance doesn’t mean that the importance is any less for Georgia itself.
Georgians need pandemic relief as urgently as anyone. And Georgia’s corrupt Republican incumbent senators will help – in fact, are necessary for – Mitch McConnell’s continued obstruction of relief for everyday Americans, towns and cities, and small businesses.
Yet while Georgians – and Americans across the country – have suffered, Republican Senators Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue have PROFITED, making a killing with shady stock market trades.
And, in addition to focusing on their own enrichment, like McConnell, Loeffler and Perdue are more interested in protecting the profits of their corporate donors than in providing relief for those in need.
It needs to stop. And the way we stop it is by WINNING in Georgia on January 5.
