Dear Friends,

On this Human Rights Day, NRCAT celebrates the anniversary of the 1948 adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights which declares that "All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and human rights." In honor of this Human Rights Day, I invite you to donate to NRCAT to support our interfaith work for a torture-free world.

Your financial contribution to NRCAT helps us elevate the universal values of our religious traditions – that every life is sacred, and no human being should ever be tortured or held without due process and basic human rights. For NRCAT, that means fully restoring the right to asylum, closing the Guantanamo Bay detention center and ending the torture of solitary confinement in U.S. prisons and jails.

Thanks to two generous NRCAT donors, your tax-deductible contribution will be doubled. Consider making a donation today in honor of a human rights hero in your community.

In celebration and gratitude,

Rev. Ron Stief
Executive Director
