Dear Friend,

Too many children and families never seek mental health support because of shame, stigma and misinformation. For over a decade the Child Mind Institute has made it easy for parents, caregivers and educators to access practical, evidence-based information about children’s mental health and learning disorders on our website, childmind.org ([link removed]).

When we receive feedback like this, we know we are making a difference:

"Your article reads like a calm hand on the wheel as we navigate through a storm."

This year, as the coronavirus pandemic left families cut off from existing support systems, we mobilized rapidly to provide practical, accessible information on how the crisis would affect mental health and what adults could do to take care of themselves and the children in their lives. We also began developing resources tailored to the needs of underserved groups, including Black and Spanish-speaking communities.

With gratitude,

All of us at the Child Mind Institute
