On September 11th this year, the American Conservative Union (ACU) hosted its special event CPAC Minnesota: “Some People Did Something.”  Hundreds of conservative activists heard from Matt Schlapp, Sara Carter, Mike Lindell, Ed Morrissey, Dr. Zuhdi Jasser, Gordon Chang, Jason Lewis and other speakers on the importance of honoring the victims and heroes of September 11th and how Americans can come together to find solutions to emerging threats.

Former NYPD Detective Rob O’Donnell shared his heart-wrenching memories of what it was like in New York City that day.
Former Congressman Jason Lewis reminded Minnesotans that progressives don’t “believe in a single thing that unites Americans.”
Investigative journalist Sara Carter detailed how her 9/11 experience spurred her to become an investigative journalist.
If you missed this great event, we urge you to watch CPAC Minnesota in its entirety HERE.
The next day, ACU set up shop in Reno, Nevada for Day One of what will become an annual event with our partners from Morning In Nevada PAC: CPAC West.  Experts addressed the immigration and border crisis, voter fraud, the continued economic and military threats presented by China, the courage of Pro-Life whistleblowers and the importance of standing up for the Second Amendment to the Constitution.
Day Two included the world-famous Basque Fry in Gardnerville, Nevada where former NV Attorney General—and ACU Board Member—Adam Laxalt hosted Matt and Mercedes Schlapp, former acting Attorney General of the United States, Matt Whitaker, National Review’s John Fund and local policymakers for an inspirational morning that reflected grassroots activists' desire to organize conservatives in 2020 and turning the tide in a very competetive state that narrowly went blue in 2016.
Matt Schlapp made it clear that conservatives “haven’t given up on Nevada.”
Stay tuned for more information from CPAC Korea (Oct 3-4) and CPAC Brazil (Oct 11-12).
