“The former top U.S. cybersecurity official responsible for securing November’s presidential election sued the Trump campaign and one of its lawyers for defamation.”
According to The Washington Post, Chris Krebs is asserting that Trump “conspired to falsely claim the election was stolen, attack dissenting Republicans and fraudulently reap political donations.”
It’s a bold move to stand up to Donald Trump’s ego and defend the truth at a time when the GOP is brazenly supporting baseless election fraud claims. Especially when attorney Joseph diGenova has already claimed that Krebs “should be drawn and quartered” and “taken out at dawn and shot” for treason.
Despite these horrible attacks, we commend Republican Chris Krebs for standing up for what is right. We believe more Republicans should follow his example, but today, we need to know where you stand:
