A Continuing Lowcountry Tradition—
Spiritual Concerts at Drayton Hall
African American spiritual concerts have been a holiday tradition at Drayton Hall, a National Trust Historic Site in Charleston, South Carolina, for more than four decades. Engaging and moving, the concerts offer visitors a chance to experience music heard centuries ago in the surrounding fields and praise houses. Featuring the music of Ann Caldwell and The Magnolia Singers, the long-standing Lowcountry tradition continues virtually this year with two digital concerts in December.
