Hi John,

Can you imagine being outside with no shelter in -10°F and watching your friends die around you? That was Helen’s life when DxE investigators found her at a supposedly “humane” Whole Foods lamb farm in Colorado.

Helen was shivering in the snow, but activists carried her out, and today, she is warm and safe at a sanctuary.

Share Helen’s story and help us expose the myth of “humane meat”

“Humane.” “Pasture-raised.” “Local.”

These are all terms that were used to describe Helen’s suffering, but there is no label that can justify violence. The Whole Foods empire of profit is built on corporate deception and animal exploitation, so we're bringing the misery straight to their front door.

In a few hours, a group of us here in the Bay Area will participate in a creative protest outside Whole Foods. We’re going to get into tubs filled with ice water to draw attention to the freezing conditions these lambs experience. I’m not looking forward to the pain, but I’m doing it because I want to bring the truth to light. We must expose the “humane” myth in order to end the violence that is inherent in this industry.

Your support makes it possible for us to expose animal abusers and tell powerful stories of rescue. If you can, please consider making a donation today in honor of Helen, to help us continue our groundbreaking work for animals.

Thank you for all your support.
