John,

In the midst of a global pandemic that attacks the lungs, the fight against tobacco has never been more important. Everyone deserves the right to breathe clean air – to keep their lungs healthy – and not be a target of the tobacco industry. That’s why we’re fighting harder than ever for effective tobacco regulations around the world.

Support our campaigns to protect kids, save lives and stop the predatory tobacco industry around the world:

We’ve made tremendous strides. Since we joined in launching the Bloomberg Initiative to Reduce Tobacco Use in low- and middle-income countries in 2007, the number of countries with strong tobacco control laws has more than tripled. Today, more than 4.7 billion people are protected by at least one strong national tobacco control law.

We also continue to make progress on other public health issues around the world through the work of our Global Health Advocacy Incubator. By applying our effective policy advocacy skills to other critical public health issues, GHAI has helped improve maternal and reproductive health care in Tanzania, establish sustainable programs to prevent children from drowning in Vietnam, reduce deaths on the road in India, and much more.

There is no doubt that we have made significant progress – in the fight against tobacco and so many other public health challenges. But we’re not done yet. And we need YOU to help us win these fights.

Make a donation now to stand up for kids and fight for life-saving public health policies >>

To kickoff our upcoming 25th anniversary next year, we’ve set a goal of raising $25,000 to celebrate our 25 years of progress around the world and to support our work in the years to come. Your gift today will help us reach this goal.

None of our work would be possible without you and your commitment to the cause.

Please help us build our network of supporters even more by passing this message along to your friends and family. To win these fights, we need everyone joining in.

Looking forward,

Yolonda Richardson
Executive Vice President of Global Programs
