Read reactions from pro-life leaders below:
Marjorie Dannenfelser, Susan B. Anthony List:
“Senator Kelly Loeffler has led the fight for compassionate, popular pro-life legislation that upholds the dignity of life and protects women. Her authentic pro-life, pro-woman leadership beautifully contrasts with the extremism of Raphael Warnock, a pro-abortion radical who distorts scripture to justify his support for abortion on demand, for any reason, through the moment of birth. Warnock is far out of the mainstream and wrong for Georgia.”
Carol Tobias, National Right to Life:
"Raphael Warnock is endorsed by Planned Parenthood, the biggest abortion chain in the country, responsible for the deaths of more than 345,000 unborn babies every year. Warnock made it clear in the debate that he would oppose any effort to protect unborn babies at any stage of pregnancy, and he believes Georgians should pay for abortion their tax dollars.
We need to return pro-life Senator Kelly Loeffler to the Senate so she can continue working with National Right to Life to protect defenseless unborn babies and their mothers from the tragedy of abortion."
Cole Muzio, Family Policy Alliance of Georgia:
“As a ‘pastor,’ radical pro-abortion Raphael Warnock continues to deny the great commandment to love thy neighbor. Contrary to his stated faith, Warnock’s extremist views align with the political fringe: believing those that the psalmist declares were knit together in their mother’s womb can have their beating hearts silenced up to and even after birth.
In her short time in the Senate, Kelly Loeffler has distinguished herself as the most ardent defender of the right to life, cherishing all life from conception to natural death. Radical Raphael Warnock marches in with lockstep with his Party’s uniform opposition to the Born Alive Bill, and his ideology is aligned with racist extremist Margaret Sanger rather than the Gospel he falsely claims to preach. We cannot, as a culture, afford to shift from someone who will fight for all life to someone who has proven so hostile to the science, logic, and faith that inform our increasingly pro-life culture.”
Joshua Edmonds, Georgia Life Alliance Action:
“Mr. Warnock’s support for the disproportionate slaughter of African-American babies is beyond disturbing. While the Black community only represents 32% of the state’s population, they shockingly represent 69% of all abortions statewide. For every 1,000 Black babies born alive in Georgia in 2019, 413 Black babies were tragically murdered at the hands of abortionists with the consent of Raphael Warnock. For the pastor of the spiritual home of Martin Luther King, Jr. to callously lead his sheep to the slaughter is an affront to the Gospel in every conceivable way.
If Mr. Warnock believes what the Bible says about all life being created and ordained by God, and if science undeniably tells us that the human lifespan begins at the moment of fertilization, it should be impossible for him to arrive at any position other than that innocent babies should be protected by law.
No one has done more in Washington to build a culture of life than Senator Kelly Loeffler. We are thankful for her pro-life leadership and look forward to continuing to partner with her to protect both the right to life and the right to live.”
While Warnock has been endorsed and bankrolled by Planned Parenthood and NARAL – two extremist groups notorious for their support of unlimited abortion-on-demand – Senator Loeffler is 100% pro-life, and has the endorsement of every major pro-life group in the nation - including those listed above.
