10 ways you can help end violence against women, even during a pandemic
Human Rights Day
Today is International Human Rights Day, which concludes the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence.

Everyone has the right to security of person and to an adequate standard of living, including housing.

Yet, in the United States, more than 1 in 3 women and more than 1 in 4 men experience intimate partner violence, the CDC reports. Every 73 seconds, an American is sexually assaulted. 1 in 10 youth ages 18-25 experience homelessness each year, as do 1 in 30 children younger than 18. Together, families (33.3%) and youth and unaccompanied children (7.4%) comprise more than 40% of our country's homeless population.
