Today I'm joining young people from across Iowa and striking for action on the climate change, the climate chaos, we are experiencing.

Our world is on fire, and I believe it's my obligation to fight for those who will be most impacted by climate change. Fighting alongside the persons of color, the young people, the millions of people who live along a coastline, and the farmers who will see pests, disease and drought impact our food supplies.

I am striking today and calling for a ban on all fossil fuel extraction on federal lands.

I am striking today and calling for the U.S. to hit Net Zero carbon emissions by 2045.

I am striking today and calling for an infrastructure plan to confront the floods and other natural disasters that come along with climate change.

I am striking today and refusing all corporate PAC money as well as all donations from the fossil fuel industry.
