The European Movement International and Tectonica are organising a digital event entitled How can European civil society use digital organising to succeed in the digital age? on Thursday, 10 December 2020 (14:00-15:00 CET).

This panel discussion will review the result of the first-of-its-kind Report on the State of Digital Organising in Europe and its findings, as related to the work of European CSOs and institutions. Does ‘digital organising’ hold hope for connecting, engaging, and building trust among European citizens in the age of social media, where traditional communications seem to fail? How can we effectively move beyond top down methods and broadcast communications with the technologies and methods we have available to us? How can we take advantage of the large shift to digital means happening in 2020, and successfully promote civic engagement inside and outside Brussels?

The panel will feature :
Ned Howey, CEO, Tectonica
Rebecca Yuska, Analyst, GQR
Lison Laissus, Enterprise Account Manager, NationBuilder

Moderated by Petros Fassoulas, Secretary General of the European Movement International.
