John, Election season is over, for now, but it doesn’t mean that we can stop holding our elected officials accountable. And yesterday Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton once again made news on an embarrassing national stage. AG Paxton formally sued four battleground states in an attempt to block Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin from voting in the Electoral College at the behest of President Donald Trump. By attempting to suppress the vote of millions, Paxton is not only wasting tax dollars to earn the favor of Donald Trump and the far right electorate, but he is doing so in order to earn a presidential pardon for his own bribery and abuse of power charges that he faces. Ken Paxton knows that prison won’t suit him well.
