You’ve stood by my side through some tough battles. That’s why I wanted to reach out to you personally to tell you about An America United (AAU), an advocacy group that was founded to fix the toxic and broken politics that infects our country today.  

This group was created to move beyond the extremes of both parties and to bring people together to advance bold, commonsense solutions for all Americans to create more and better jobs, cut taxes, protect the environment, build our infrastructure, and improve education  – building on our successful approach in Maryland.

After this divisive election, I believe we are at a crossroads for my party, and at a critical time, for our nation. 

I recently had the honor of addressing the Ronald Reagan Foundation about how we can restore this bold, optimistic vision for the future of the Republican party and our nation.

Reagan connected with everyday people. And he channeled that connection toward a bold and optimistic vision focused on getting results improving the lives of everyday Americans. That’s precisely what An American United is focused on – and what we have already proven works in Maryland these past six years.

We have to show those who have lost faith in our party and those who feel forgotten by Washington that we actually can get things done and that we can make their lives better.

We not only need to return to our principles, but we must reinvigorate them with commonsense solutions that work for 21st century challenges.
