Your donation today will be TRIPLED!

Dear Friend,

In this age of COVID-19, when so many of us are separated from the people we love, let your friends and family know that you're thinking of them—even though you can't be together.

Donate to Democracy Now! in honor of a loved one. We'll be sure to let them know that you've chosen to think outside the big-box stores and online retailers and have given the gift of independent media instead.

And today, your donation to Democracy Now! will be TRIPLED, thanks to a generous donor.

Click here to donate to Democracy Now! today and triple your impact.

Democracy Now! connects the dots between the issues you care about most and the movements changing America and the world, from U.S. imperialism abroad to the fight to stop police violence in Black and Brown communities—from healthcare for all to the struggle for racial and economic justice.
Your donation today will be TRIPLED!
Democracy Now! recently interviewed Dr. Chris Purnell, a public health physician in Newark, New Jersey, who is participating in Moderna’s vaccine trial, in part as a way to honor her late father who died from COVID-19 and to ensure African Americans are included in the studies.
“Being a public health physician, I needed a way to be a part of the solution,” Dr. Purnell said. “I knew it was important for Black and Brown persons to participate if we were ever to get at a truly effective solution.”

Coverage like this is only possible with your support. Please contribute to Democracy Now! today.
Remember, your tax-deductible donation today will be worth three times as muchso please be as generous as you can.

DONATE TODAY & TRIPLE YOUR IMPACT!
This week Democracy Now! looked at how the ride-hailing companies Uber and Lyft scored a major victory against workers' rights with the passage of Prop 22 in California, and how they’re now pushing similar measures in other states.
Give today and your donation will go 3x as far!
“The law will now exempt drivers like me from basic wage and labor protections afforded to most workers in the state in the middle of a pandemic and recession,” said Cherri Murphy, a Lyft driver and organizer with Gig Workers Rising.
If issues like a living wage are important to you, please donate today.

The Trump administration has ended a 30-year hiatus in federal executions, killing eight federal prisoners with five more to go before Trump leaves office. Four of those scheduled to die are African American men and the other is the only woman on federal death row. She would be the first woman executed by the federal government in nearly 70 years.

In order to expedite the killing spree, the Justice Department has expanded the methods of federal execution to include firing squad, poison gas and electrocution.

Democracy Now! got a response from renowned anti-death penalty activist Sister Helen Prejean, author of Dead Man Walking.
Your donation today will be TRIPLED!
“There’s no need for these executions to happen. It’s the callous brute force mentality of the Trump administration. … He can use violence and force to make his point,” Sister Prejean said.
If stories like these are important to you, please donate today, when your donation will go three times as far.

DONATE TODAY & TRIPLE YOUR IMPACT!
You need a media that covers power, not covers for power—reporting on the grassroots movements and bringing you voices of people organizing from the front lines of the world’s most pressing issues... especially now.

That's why you tune into Democracy Now! But none of this is possible without your help.

With your support, Democracy Now! is training the next generation of independent journalists through our internship and fellowship programs. Our education program—which has gone virtual because of the pandemic—teaches hundreds of students about fearless, truth-seeking journalism in this time of disinformation and lies.

If you believe in the importance of our work,
please do your part today, when your donation will have triple the impact!
