Dear Friend,

Yesterday House Democratic leaders introduced strong legislation to lower drug prices. The Lower Drug Prices Now Act (H.R. 3), empowers the federal government to negotiate lower drug prices for all Americans and reduce out of pocket costs for Medicare beneficiaries. This is a huge step toward providing relief for Americans.

We know this bill will put the needs of patients ahead of pharmaceutical corporations because their Washington lobbyists declared it “radical.”

Seniors can’t wait. The system is broken and we need real change.

You can help. Make sure YOUR member of Congress stands up to the special interests. Click to send a letter to your U.S. Representative demanding a quick vote for H.R. 3.

Americans pay the highest prescription drug prices in the world. Many, including retirees and seniors, resort to extreme measures like skipping doses or not filling prescriptions because they can’t afford their medicine. That is wrong and must stop.

The tide is turning in Washington, but we can’t quit until this legislation is passed and signed into law.

Thanks for your support and helping get us this far.
