Yesterday the House of Representatives passed the Water Resources Development Act of 2020, which includes legislation I wrote to accelerate construction of the EAA Southern Storage reservoir, combat harmful algal blooms and prevent toxic discharges.
We also stopped special interest lobbyists from inserting language to further manipulate Florida’s waterways for their own benefit.
These are big wins for our community, Florida’s environment and our public health!
