John,

Let’s be honest: it’s been a rough year. And we’re still dealing with a devastating pandemic, a struggling economy, and a reckoning with racism.

Despite everything, we want to reflect on the progress we’ve made and what we have to look forward to in 2021.

1. Joe Biden and Kamala Harris become our next President and Vice President on January 20th.
2. Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff could flip the Senate blue on January 5th.
3. We could soon see the widespread distribution of COVID-19 vaccines.
4. So much more.

While the holidays will look different this year, we hope that you can connect with family and friends—even if it’s virtually—and find some joy and peace this holiday season. You’ve been an incredible part of our team, and we look forward to working with you and fighting for our progressive values under a new Biden administration.

Have a happy and healthy holiday season and New Year.

Sincerely,
Emma, Greg, Ian, Maya, Margaret, and the rest of the Fight for Progress team
