You’ve heard about the body of Continuum of Care services – which provides tens of thousands of families with the resources they need to be restored to stability.

Because behind each number, is a mom who was reached with the help and hope she so desperately needed. A child who was given the chance at LIFE outside the womb. And a family who is stable and building lasting memories together... all because you chose to give and rescue them.

One of the lives that has been changed forever because of your prayers and support is “Anna.”

When Anna found out she was pregnant, her marriage had just ended. She was raising her two boys on her own. And she was facing the challenges of life as a single parent.

She had a strong faith background. But still, she needed to know her options. As she was searching for information, she called Human Coalition’s Contact Center and was quickly connected to a nurse to begin counseling and care.

Anna was emotional as she talked to the nurse for the first time. She shared her fears and anxiety of bringing another child into the world – and raising all three children by herself. But at the same time, Anna said that she believed the child inside her was a life… a life that had value and deserved a chance.

The nurse listened to her concerns and showed her grace, love, and compassion. The nurse talked to Anna about her options and told her that Human Coalition’s Continuum of Care program was specifically designed for moms like her who needed some extra assistance and support.

Anna then received a free ultrasound to meet her baby for the first time. Seeing the child on the screen confirmed to her that there was no way she could have an abortion.

A few months later, Anna gave birth to her daughter, “Jamie.” And the staff at Human Coalition has walked with her every step of the way and provided her with the resources she has needed to bring her family to stability.
