Those companies who hold these animals captive will find any way they can to make money from them.
Reindeer are being taken into schools, garden centres and even supermarkets. Others are languishing in fields or barns, as their captors make plans for 2021 when they can take them back out on the road.
Whatever is happening to these reindeer this year, they continue to face fear, stress and suffering. Deprived of their freedom, these semi-wild animals are so far from their natural homes in snowy mountains and alpine forests.
That is why the campaign continues, lockdown or not. These animals still need our help.
Here are three great ways you can help animals this Christmas:
- Take action against festive events taking place this December (scroll to the bottom of the page to see the action map!)
- Join our Run for Reindeer this Saturday
- Donate to our Release Rudolph appeal
Every action you take will help animals facing exploitation this year and beyond - to give them a chance at freedom! Thank you for everything you do for animals.
Best wishes,

P.S. There's still time to sign up to join our Run for Reindeer taking place this Saturday! I've got my reindeer costume at the ready!
