Relatives,

I cannot put this lightly: From the North Slope of Alaska, to the Gulf Coast of Texas. From tar sands pipelines to fracking wells, there is a land rush happening right now to plunder, take and pillage as much Indigenous and public lands as possible before President-elect Biden takes office.

We have friends and family, who over the next 44 days, will literally be putting their lives on the line to stop oil & gas corporations from trying to lock-in as many fossil fuel projects as they can. It's that serious.

We need President-Elect Biden to understand one key message: We are tired of defending our homes & bodies from toxic pollution. We are tired of stopping one project, only to prepare for three more on the horizon. We are tired of putting ourselves first on the frontlines only to be cast aside or not acknowledged as rightful stakeholders in our own lands. We need Biden to stand with us to reject fossil fuel projects poisoning our communities, end the era of fossil fuel production through a just transition, and Build Back Fossil Free toward a thriving economy that works for all.

Swift executive action within Biden’s first 100 days will provide the foundation he needs to meet the mandate we the people gave him-- to take bold action on climate change that will mitigate the climate chaos we are already experiencing, end fossil fuel racism, and improve well-being for millions of people.

Please join us in amplifying upcoming frontline actions calling on Biden to #KeepItInTheGround and #BuildBackFossilFree:
