St. John Chrysostom once said:

Do you wish to know if the people of any place are righteous?

Look what sort of a pastor they have. If you find him pious, just, sound, believe the people will be the same, for they are seasoned with the salt of his wisdom.

As you know by experience, this is true. Catholic clergy and laity are like two pillars that must come together to restore holiness in our Church.

What does this mean for you and me?

It means that when we see priests diligently faithful to their mission to guide the faithful and give their life for the Church…

…it is our duty as Catholic faithful to support them!

What are you willing to do and to sacrifice to hear our priests ring the bell of truth in the sacred towers of fidelity?

On October 28-30, 2019 in Denver, Colorado, priests will gather from across the nation with Cardinal Raymond Burke, Cardinal Gerhard Müller, and Archbishop Samuel Aquila to set the tone for the beginning of a refreshing movement that ushers in a most beautiful and radiant future for the Church.

This priest conference themed A Faithful Echo and hosted by Catholic Action and the Napa Institute will celebrate the sanctity of the holy priesthood, seek to preserve the integrity of the holy liturgy, and foster community and camaraderie among faithful priests.

No doubt that some priests have the financial means to come to an event like this, but there are many who do not.

And it would also be a wonderful gesture of support to sponsor your own parish priest.

The average amount needed to sponsor a priest will be $850 to cover flights ($350) and conference fee ($500). Accommodation and meals are already included in the conference registration fee. Of course, flights will vary in cost depending on where a specific priest is coming from. The amount mentioned is only an average to ensure that all flights can be covered.

Whether you can give $5, $50, $500 or $850, every bit counts toward sponsorship. If you can cover the event fees or flight or both for a priest, more priests will be able to attend this history-making conference!

Good and holy priests today face the ridicule and scorn of so many because of the grievous and scandalous sins and crimes of some of their brother priests.

Amid the battle raging around us progressively killing the remaining Christian ethos in our society and culture, the gathering of faithful priests to embrace and proclaim the universal call to holiness is crucial.

The opportunities for priests will include:

I am well aware that I am asking for a sacrifice. But I ask because I know you want to help the priests of the Church answer the call to restore Catholic grandeur in the hearts of the faithful and to the eyes of the world.

I am absolutely certain that Our Lady will bless you immensely for helping to inspire Catholic priests to be holy, pure, strong, and faithful to Her Divine Son and fervent devotees of Her Immaculate Heart.
