Hi John,

As we near the end of 2020, I want to thank you and all the organizers working tirelessly to build long term grassroots power. You’ve accomplished so much despite this year’s truly unprecedented obstacles, and I am deeply inspired by your commitment to fighting for justice, dignity, and a better world for all.

Through Build Power, a project of the Action Network Fund, I had the opportunity to speak with organizing directors from across the country about what fuels their work. As we reflect on 2020, I wanted to share the highlights from those conversations with you in hopes that they can provide some inspiration for the work ahead in 2021:

• Lucho Gomez, Organizing Director for Workers United NY/NJ, spoke about worker led power and strategies and tactics for building campaigns from the ground up. WATCH >>
