Upon being honored this week by the Russian Jewish Congress, Lauder notes the progress being made in the fight against antisemitism in Russia,  and urges the Russian Federation to officially adopt the IHRA definition as a “powerful message” to the world.

WJC President Ronald S. Lauder inaugurates Bulgaria’s first Jewish school in decades
The private school will initially serve 88 children in early elementary school and later will be open to students through grade 12. In inaugurating the school, Lauder said: “The way to fight antisemitism is through education,” for both Jews and non-Jews alike.

Ronald S. Lauder was honored to be in Bulgaria this past week to open a new Jewish day school in his name in the capital Sofia. These schools will teach our children the pride of being Jewish.
