2021 is coming
The fact that we've almost made it out of 2020 is no small feat.

While control of the Senate remains unclear, the overwhelming victory of reproductive health champions Joe Biden and Kamala Harris — along with the pro-reproductive health majority's victory in the House — indicates a clear mandate: the people are demanding policies that expand access to sexual and reproductive care. We've outlined our reproductive health care priorities for President-elect Biden — and we need you as a co-signer.

The first 100 days of a presidency are critical — it's the period where administrations typically get the most done. And there's a lot our country needs done!

The Biden-Harris team is already working on the transition of power, which means they're determining right now what the priorities will be for the new administration. We need to make sure our voices are a part of the discussion.

What priorities will you be signing on to?

1 Issue an executive order to end the global gag rule and unnecessary restrictions on medication abortion.
2 Issue a budget proposal that ends the Hyde and Helms amendments.
3 Work with Congress to pass a COVID-19 relief package that prioritizes the needs of women and families, and protects safety net providers like Planned Parenthood.
4 Appoint sexual and reproductive health champions to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, the U.S. Agency for International Development, and the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services — and to federal judgeships.
5 Reinstate guidance prohibiting states from cutting Planned Parenthood out of state Medicaid programs.

As COVID-19 cases surge and our communities struggle to get the care, relief, and support they need, it's even more crucial than ever that we make sure health care is a top concern of the new administration. Let's raise our voices now to make sure reproductive health is on President-elect Biden's list of priorities.

Sign on to the letter so we can finally make reproductive freedom a reality for all.

Momentum is on our side. Let's seize this moment,

Planned Parenthood Action Fund
P.S. This new administration will get to work as soon as they enter the White House, so we need to advocate for what we believe in NOW, during the transition — don't let this opportunity pass us by. Text ADD ME to 22422 and we'll keep you updated on how the Biden-Harris team responds.
