Yesterday I emailed to tell you about this year's HOPE not hate Christmas Appeal, and today I wanted to tell you why it's so important.

This year has been tough for a lot of people, and it's true for us as well. In the last 12 months we've lost £300,000 of expected income - an amount so large that it represented an existential threat to HOPE not hate and the way that we currently operate.

Our supporters have been making a huge effort all year to help us to close that gap, but we're not quite there yet, and we need to go that last mile before Christmas so it doesn't impact our work next year.

That's why this year's Christmas Appeal is so important. Our funding gap could mean that we have to close down whole areas of operation in 2021. Will you donate today to help us avoid that outcome?

In the last 12 months we have relentlessly undermined and exposed the far-right, and we've exposed dangerous conspiracy theories like QAnon. The work that HOPE not hate Charitable Trust has done to explore the link between the far-right and declining towns has been so vital. There's so much more to do.
