Studies have already linked PFAS chemicals to suppressed immune function.

Now new research has revealed that PFAS chemicals can also reduce vaccine effectiveness. This is a big deal, given that PFAS chemicals can be found in the blood of more than 99% of Americans! The government and chemical industry have known about the health risks of PFAS chemicals for years but have done little to clean up contamination.

We have a historic opportunity to take serious action on PFAS in 2021. For the first time ever, an incoming president has made PFAS a priority. President-elect Biden has pledged to set federal drinking water limits on PFAS chemicals and designate them hazardous substances, kick-starting the cleanup process.
