Hi Friend,
We need to change the way Canadians commute. Sitting in traffic, waiting for a late bus or trying to cycle through car-centric cities is wasteful (and often dangerous).
It doesn’t have to be this way. We can build cities for people, not cars. We can improve our public infrastructure through better public transit. We can invest in high-speed and affordable trains. We can revive Via Rail and connect rural communities.
There’s a Green plan for that.
As Elizabeth May announced this morning, Greens are committed to affordable and convenient public transit.
To ensure Canada improves its mobility, a Green government will:
- Connect Canada by electric trains from coast to coast
- Build affordable, zero-carbon public transit
- Invest in cycling infrastructure and walkable communities
There are just 31 days left until voters head to the polls. If you believe that Canada needs to change the way it commutes, then chip in to support our campaign and help us spread our vision.
