** Dear Neighbors,
------------------------------------------------------------
Today is a critical moment for the global movement to address climate change and I’m proud to be marching with our youth and other New Yorkers. People across the world are stopping business as usual today and demanding that we come together to solve the climate crisis.
With students from LaGuardia High School.
We need to keep the momentum going. Climate Week NYC begins this Monday, with a wide range of activities focused on solutions. Panel discussions, concerts, exhibitions, and seminars will be covering everything from food policy to electric vehicles to zero-emission buildings. Learn more here ([link removed]) .
With Rev Schuyler Vogel of the 4th Universalist Society and members of Amnesty International.
A central event next week is the United Nations General Assembly, where five separate summits will be taking place to spur action on the climate crisis and related global challenges. Learn more here ([link removed]) .
