You see, we are living in the most difficult of times. You know it. We all know it. This holiday season, COVID-19 will have an especially negative impact on women of all ages. While alcohol use is up 14% among the general population, heavy drinking among women has increased by 41%.

As this pandemic continues each day with infections and hospitalizations increasing, the emotional toll remains tremendously difficult. And here we are right now, dealing with the holidays.

But we must keep on meeting these challenges and continue to be a force of healing and hope for those affected by addiction to alcohol and other drugs.
