As we emerge from the Thanksgiving holiday it’s now clear that the spread of COVID-19 is on a dangerous upswing. In California, cases have spiked, hospitalizations have soared, and the subsequent shutdowns are devastating working families.

We cannot wait another moment to pass a critical funding bill to support health care and frontline workers, keep small businesses afloat, and give relief to working families who are struggling through this pandemic.

It's time to put our political differences aside and treat this emergency like our lives depend on it, because they do. If you agree, join me in demanding that Congress pass an immediate COVID-19 relief bill.

This month, I’m doing everything I can in Congress to make sure federal assistance is delivered to working families, but in the meantime we can’t allow children to go hungry because paychecks aren’t coming in.
