John,

On Sunday night, the four candidates in the runoff races for U.S. Senate in Georgia kicked off their first debate—but Republican David Perdue didn’t even bother to show up.

It’s clear that Perdue’s expensive consultants (including veteran GOP strategist Karl Rove) have advised him against debating Jon Ossoff. They know he’d have a hard time defending his record and explaining his corrupt insider trading.

John, a U.S. Senator should not hide from a debate just weeks before an election. He represents the people of Georgia and he should be accountable to them. But it’s also a sign that Perdue and his campaign are worried.

While we’ve got the momentum right now, we’re setting a goal to raise $10,000 today to help Jon Ossoff beat David Perdue on January 5. Will you rush a donation today for Ossoff?

We know we’re asking a lot of you—but the truth is that the work of this team, and Democrats across the country, are going to be what makes the difference in the Georgia runoffs. If we can help boost turnout, we can turn Georgia blue and flip the Senate.

Thank you for all you’re doing,

Serve America
