COVID-19 cases are surging and its effects on this nation are only getting worse, John:

• Hospitals are at top capacity again
• Black, Latino, Indigenous, and Asian individuals are hospitalized and dying at a higher rate — still.
• Essential workers continue to risk their lives without adequate support.
• Millions of people are facing unemployment, eviction, and going hungry.
• All while Mitch McConnell twiddles his thumbs holding up relief that would save millions of lives.

Safeguarding the health and well-being of people during an economic and health crisis should not be a partisan issue. It should be a no-brainer. And without direct relief from our government, our nation will continue to suffer as this pandemic worsens.

Enough is enough. It’s been eight months since the last COVID relief bill was passed and it’s time for Mitch McConnell to take action.

People need support NOW. Not next week, next month, or next year. If you agree, sign my petition demanding Mitch McConnell and Washington Republicans provide our nation with COVID-19 relief, immediately.

Another moment cannot be wasted while families and businesses struggle to make it through the week. We must continue to push until relief is given.
