As you may have heard, two weeks ago I went to visit my mother before she passed away. Out of an abundance of caution, I tested for COVID-19 several times during this period and discovered that I had contracted the virus while traveling.

These past couple of weeks have been incredibly difficult and I wanted to say how grateful I am for the outpouring of support and well wishes I’ve received from you all.

Right now, families across Nevada are struggling with this virus. Whether I’m working from quarantine or fighting for you all in Washington, please know that I remain dedicated in the fight for access to health care and economic relief that will help our communities defeat this pandemic.
