While working Americans have been forced to default on their mortgages, shutter their small businesses, and drain their savings as a result of COVID-19, our Republican-controlled Senate has sat by and done nothing.

Under Mitch McConnell's leadership, the Senate has left working people out to dry during one of the worst health crises in our nation's history. Americans deserve better; they deserve comprehensive financial relief, not a one-time payment of $1,200.

The wealthiest Americans have seen their net-worths increase over the last 10 months, while working people have been scraping to get by. This is economic injustice at its worst.
