Two years. 24 months. 730 days. Whichever way you slice it, we still have an extremely long fight ahead of us in our pursuit to end gerrymandering. And the path to victory isn't going to be a walk in the park.

Nonetheless, we're confident in our strategy to win this fight -- the road ahead includes a complex patchwork of public input, map analysis, grassroots lobbying, and legislator outreach and accountability. Small wins that hold map drawers accountable will lead to big victories in states like Texas where practically no formal checks on the redistricting process exist.

You can make a donation here to support our Grassroots Last Line of Defense Fund. All donations made by the end of the day will be put to work immediately, help us prepare for these next redistricting battles, and support our plans to grow this movement before 2021.

The fight over fair maps will be challenging -- and arguably more consequential than the 2020 elections. Look no further than the latest headlines and you'll see that.

"The 2020 elections were ugly. The redistricting battles of the next two years will be even more brutal." -- Politico 11/30/2020

The end of the election only marked the beginning of our movement's battle -- one where our grassroots advocacy blueprint is not only a first-of-its-kind approach to fair redistricting but also a must-have if we're going to hold partisan politicians accountable during the process.

And I'm sorry to report, we've hit an early roadblock. Last month, we set a goal to launch our Grassroots Last Line of Defense Fund, but didn't reach our benchmark.

If we're going to power our plans for fair maps over the next years, we'll need five people from Washington to make a donation before midnight. Can you be one of those people, friend?
