More and more states are displaying a willingness to impose heavy-handed vaccine mandates that trample on religious, parental and human rights.
What some Americans may not realize is that the current push for mandates is playing out not just in the U.S. but in other countries as well, reflecting a broader—and indeed, global—agenda. Countries such as Australia, Italy and France have taken the lead in transitioning away from government interventions that “merely nudge or persuade individuals to vaccinate” and toward a more punitive exercise of “coercive power.”

Is Doctors’ Cash Incentive Sidelining the Hippocratic Oath?

The editor of the independent news website California Globe called attention to the unseemly haste with which antidemocratic lawmakers “jammed through” SB 276, legislation that essentially eliminates vaccine medical exemptions, quoting one dissenting Senator as saying, “This Legislature is even scaring our medical community.”
Is the Senator right? Just what do California doctors think about the unprecedented legislation that disses their sacrosanct relationship with patients and allows state bureaucrats to “illegally practice medicine over the top of the doctors”?
For many, the absence of liability and the financial payoffs appear to be acceptable tradeoffs.

Philippines Declares New Polio Outbreak After 19 Years

Earlier this week, the World Health Organization and UNICEF issued a joint statement acknowledging that the recent polio outbreak in the Philippines was caused by vaccine-derived poliovirus type 2, noting that the last known case of wild strain polio in the country occurred in 1993. Despite this, both organizations are calling for increased polio vaccine efforts among children in the Philippines and globally.
Last week, Stat News covered the concern that vaccine-derived polio was spreading: in 2016, “there were only two children paralyzed — one in Pakistan, one in Nigeria — by type 2 vaccine-derived polio viruses. But the next year, the number rose to 96, in two countries. Last year there were 71 in five countries. To date in 2019, there have been 68, in 10 countries."

Study: C-Sections Tied to “Stunted” Microbiota in Newborns

Previous studies have linked C-sections with an increased risk of conditions such as asthma and diabetes, leading some researchers to suspect that babies born in this way may have different mixes of gut bacteria because of their lack of exposure to the birth canal.
The new analysis is the largest so far to address that question. While the guts of the vaginally born babies had been colonized by bacteria typically found in healthy people, those delivered by C-section had microbiomes dominated by species commonly found in hospitals.
"The level of colonization by health-care pathogens is shocking in these children. When I first saw the data, I couldn’t believe it,” coauthor Trevor Lawley, a microbiologist at the Wellcome Sanger Institute, tells Nature.
“The first weeks of life are a critical window of development of the baby’s immune system, but we know very little about it,” coauthor Peter Brocklehurst of Birmingham University tells Reuters. “We need to follow up . . . these babies as they grow to see if early differences in the microbiome lead to any health issues.”

NY Next Steps—FAQ for the Last Day of School and Fighting for Your Child's Rights

New York is in unprecedented times. 26,000 students are losing their right to an education because Governor Cuomo and a majority of our legislators chose to no longer tolerate the religious beliefs of those students’ families. The State has done very little to educate the schools or families on next steps and there are many conflicting messages. Based on discussions with knowledgeable people who have studied the law, regulations and related documents, an FAQ for the last day of school (before your child is asked to leave) has been prepared. The FAQs (for public schools only) are not legal advice, rather, the goal is to protect children’s rights to an education and to avoid any action that may result in your family becoming a target of Child Protective Services.
Several lawsuits challenging the expulsion of NY children have been filed but there are actions you can and should take to challenge this gross violation of your children’s human rights.
