The freeze is coming -- that's why I wanted to reach out right now.

Friday is the last day to make sure we have the resources needed to get through the upcoming legislative session. Friday at midnight all donations must stop for at least 90 days. It's the last time you'll get a fundraising email from me for the next three months, and we have huge plans to combat climate change, create more economic opportunity, and respond to the COVID-19 crisis in Washington state while Washington, D.C. continues to stall.

Our opponents who want to organize against progress can still accept money hand-over-fist while legislators work hard in Olympia -- that's why I'm reaching out. We have a pre-freeze goal of raising $30,000 by midnight on Friday: Will you donate $5 or more right now?

I'm so proud of the work we're doing here in Washington state: We're taking monumental steps to set the foundation for the next generation of progressive leaders and the future of the climate movement. And we're working day and night to keep folks safe from COVID-19 and to keep small businesses supported during this critical time.

While we had some big wins this election season (thanks to you!), we didn't secure the supermajority we needed to be assured we'd have the votes to execute on our big plans for Washington state. With the freeze coming, our opponents will use this time to raise hundreds of thousands of dollars to defeat the progress Washingtonians are depending on.

$30,000 will go a long way to supporting that work while we can't raise any contributions -- that's why I'm asking, right now:
