Folks,
On January 5th, my good friend Rev. Raphael Warnock will be up for election in the Georgia Senate runoffs --
and the outcome of his race will shape the direction of our country for the next two years.
I was proud to serve as a spokesperson for him in person at the debate on Sunday.
After all, the two Senate runoffs here in Georgia will be the deciding factor in whether or not the Biden-Harris administration can pass meaningful, necessary legislation to address our most pressing issues -- from combating the COVID-19 pandemic to expanding access to health care, addressing systemic racial inequality, solving the climate crisis, and
so much more.
That’s why we must elect bold, progressive leaders like Raphael to the Senate. Can you split a donation of $10 between OAD and his campaign right now to help flip the Senate and bring about the change we urgently need?
As Senior Pastor at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta, the former pulpit of Reverend Martin Luther King Jr, Reverend Raphael Warnock has shown undeniable leadership through compassion and empathy.
But his commitment to improve the lives of everyday people goes beyond the church door.
As a champion for working families, Raphael has pushed for policies that would improve the lives of those who are struggling most in an economy set up against them.
In the Senate, he will work to make health care affordable, address the broken criminal justice system, and build an economy that works for everyone.
Raphael is ready to lead Georgia, and our country, through this devastating economic and social downturn wrought by COVID-19 into a more equitable future -- one where all of us have the opportunity to achieve the American Dream.
But first, he has to make it through the Senate runoffs.
So please, if you can, split a donation today to help Raphael’s campaign, so we can begin to build a government that works for all of us.
Thank you for your continued support,
Sarah Riggs Amico
