End-Of-Year Campaign:
Leading Our Change
|
|
Hello AdvOCAtes,
For our end-of-year campaign this year, we want to focus on storytelling and the way in which it connects people and is harnessed to drive positive and meaningful change in our communities. This month, we are proud to launch the “Leading Our Change” campaign, which will showcase AAPI individuals sharing their personal stories and their vision for change within their society. The donations raised from this campaign will be allocated to our year-round internship program and advocacy and policy efforts.
Two of OCA's greatest impacts have been through our signature internship program and advocacy work. By building a pipeline of leaders, OCA has empowered over 520 AAPIs to lead and represent their communities in all areas and sectors. Our policy and advocacy continues to uplift AAPI voices to elected officials and others. Although this strange year is coming to a close, our work at OCA National has only just begun. Together, with you, we are ready to lead change in 2021.
We ask that you continue to support our organization’s efforts in any way you are able. It can be as simple as sharing our campaign page with your friends and family to spread the word about the work that we do together!

OCA Public Opinion Survey
OCA is partnering with TDW+Co and AARP to conduct a public opinion survey post-general election. The link for the survey is bit.ly/ocasurvey2020. Responses to the survey are anonymous. The survey will take approximately 15-20 minutes to complete. Due to the nature of the survey link, we recommend everyone fill it out in one sitting, as closing the browser will exit you out of the survey.
As a bonus, OCA will be offering 10 Amazon gift cards worth $25. To participate in this random drawing, you have the option to enter your name and email address near the conclusion of the survey. You are under no obligation to provide your personal information if you do not with to enter the drawing. In addition, your name & contact info will not be connected to the rest of your survey responses in order to maintain the anonymity of your response.
The deadline to fill out this survey is December 11, 2020.
