Beth Farrell
Hamburg Town Councilwoman
Beth Farrell won an upset race in the overwhelmingly Democrat-controlled Hamburg and has been hard at work for the taxpayers ever since. A wife, mother, and 30-year career Mental Health Counselor, Councilwoman Beth Farrell has been a strong public servant fighting to revitalize the Town and Villages of Hamburg and Blasdell.
Despite Hamburg having over 5,000 more Democrats than Republicans, Beth Farrell won big in 2017.
“I am a Republican because I am pragmatic. I want to solve problems, not score points by complaining about them. As Hamburg Councilwoman, I have fought hard to make government more efficient and put individuals, businesses, and communities first. All politics is local, and I am proud to be elected to serve the Taxpayers of Hamburg.”
Since winning her election in 2017, Beth Farrell has focused her efforts on improving services for the residents of the community, upgrading town services, and finding ways to cut costs. Her advocacy for fiscal responsibility is exactly why we fight to elect Republicans to local office - especially when looking ahead at the financial struggles caused by Covid-19 shutdowns.
Beth Farrell collaborated on operational improvements to streamline government, fought for grant money to help revitalize Hamburg in the Town and Village, and introduced needed revisions to Workplace Violence and Harassment policies. Using her experience as a counselor, Beth developed the Interactive Community Support Network to provide web-based access to addiction and mental health resources for individuals and families in our community.
