** WELCOME TO THE NUMBER OF THE DAY

** DECEMBER 8, 2020

Asked about seven leading news sources, 36% of voters said none of them are unbiased and present the facts in a neutral manner. A _PoliticalIQ_ survey found that 49% of Republicans hold this view along with 44% of independents. However, only 18% of Democrats agree.[1] ([link removed])

Nearly half (48%) of Democrats see _CNN_ as an unbiased source of information, and 38% of them say the same about _The New York Times_. Among Republicans, 30% see _Fox News_ as unbiased.[1] ([link removed])

Overall, 30% of voters see _CNN_ as unbiased, followed by _The New York Times_ (25%), _Fox News_ (24%), _PBS_ (22%), _The Washington Post_ (17%), _MSNBC_ (16%), and _The Wall Street Journal_ (15%).[1] ([link removed])

In all cases but _Fox News_, Democrats are more likely to see the news source as presenting facts in a neutral manner.[1] ([link removed])
