Alexandria Dems Labor Caucus lends a hand
The Alexandria Dems Labor Caucus is working with the MWC's Community Services Agency and NoVA Labor to adopt two Alexandria families in need for the holidays. [link removed] Click here to donate via PayPal. Any money you donate will be used to purchase gift cards that will enable these families -- local immigrant families that have been impacted by COVID-19 -- to obtain the items they need most. The ADC Labor Caucus will then deliver the gifts to the families before Christmas. If you have any questions, contact Sean Casey at mailto:[email protected] [email protected].

Baltimore CLC cancels Leadership Conference
In light of the travel and gathering restrictions made necessary by the COVID-19 pandemic, "and in the interest of keeping our members and communities healthy," the Baltimore Labor Council will not be holding its annual Leadership Conference this January. "We look forward to seeing you all at our 30th Annual Leadership Conference in 2022," said president Glen Middleton Sr.

How to drive union
The UAW has released its annual report of union-built vehicles for 2021. These vehicles are made in the United States or Canada by members of the UAW and Canada's Unifor union, a merger of the former Canadian Auto Workers (CAW) and the Communications, Energy and Paperworkers Union of Canada. Because of the integration of vehicle production in both countries, all of the vehicles listed as made in Canada include significant UAW-made content and support the jobs of UAW members. Also, heard a noon train-whistle salute yesterday here in Burke to the memory of Brother Larry Willis ([link removed] In Memoriam: TTD President Larry Willis)."
