There’s only 29 more days until the Senate runoff in Georgia and we need all hands on deck.
I’ve seen how powerful this movement can be and I know that if we channel that grassroots power in Georgia — we can win.
In the weeks leading up to November 3rd, our volunteers sent and received 13 million texts to women voters in battleground states across the country. Thousands of grassroots supporters chipped in $5, $10, or anything they could to help make sure our organizing teams had the funding to pull off an ambitious get out the vote program. Together, we harnessed our collective power as women and feminists to defeat Trump — and we won.
John, we need you to join us again to finish this last fight: flipping the Senate. Please check out the 3 ways you can help get out the vote on January 5 and ensure our victory:
1.) Sign up to text Georgia voters one-on-one at our Tuesday text banks. No experience is necessary, each shift will begin with a training, and we will provide live support and troubleshooting for all shifts.
2.) If you can’t make it to our weekly text bank, make a donation to fund our organizing work in Georgia. We have big plans for the next 29 days to reach out to voters in Georgia with weekly text banks and COVID-safe door-to-door canvassing. We’re relying on grassroots donors like you to help power this work.
3.) And if you have friends or family living in Georgia, you can help by forwarding them this link to join Women’s March and SONG Power for “Knock your Block” COVID-safe canvasses!
We are thrilled to partner with SONG Power on this program, the policy and advocacy sister organization of Southerners on New Ground bringing decades of grassroots Southern, multiracial, Black led feminist organizing experience to bear.
In the last 3 weeks our teams have joined forces to build out an innovative program to turnout more GA voters. Volunteers will be given a list of voters in their neighborhood to contact on their own schedule, as well as training, literature and a script. It’s a double win — more turnout and more relationships.
