Black Lives Matter PAC has been working closely with the Working Families Party to make sure we get Jon Ossoff and Rev. Warnock elected to the Senate in January. And this week, we've got a few more volunteer shifts, and we need your help to fill them.
We certainly do not need to remind you what's at stake this election.
Each and every one of us is living through the result of having elected officials that refuse to address the coronavirus pandemic. You might've lost your job, or you might've even lost a friend or family member to COVID-19. But one thing is clear: The countless lives we've lost along with the worsening economic crisis could have all been avoided if we had the right leaders in office.
Our Black and brown communities have been hit hardest from the effects of COVID-19. And if Mitch McConnell keeps his power in the Senate, there's no chance of our communities getting any sort of pandemic relief from the government -- pandemic relief from the government that our communities need in order to survive this next wave of COVID-19.
Our movement helped to deliver record turnout in the general election, and we're ready to deliver once again in the Georgia runoff on January 5th -- but we need your help to turn out as many voters as possible.
Rental and homeowner protections. Student loans halted. Hunger and food assistance. Coronavirus unemployment benefits and aid.
Mitch McConnell will continue to refuse to act on all of these things if he keeps his power in the Senate. Electing Jon Ossoff and Rev. Warnock can and will put an end to McConnell's inhumanity.
