Last Chance for Animals (LCA) and, S. Korean sister organization, Animal Liberation Wave (ALW) have put up a billboard featuring Seorak, rescued from a slaughterhouse, in one of Seoul Metro’s busiest spots. Seorak's billboard will expose millions of S. Koreans to the horrible suffering of dogs raised for meat.
The billboard reads, “Dogs Loved and Dogs Eaten? No Difference!” and raises awareness that dogs tortured, slaughtered and sold for meat are no different than beloved family pets. Seorak is wearing LCA & ALW’s iconic #stopdogslaughter campaign scarf, and in small white letters surrounding his picture are names of S. Korean supporters who donated to the billboard project.
Dogs are still categorized as livestock under the S. Korean Livestock Industry Act. LCA & ALW are working together to remove dogs from the livestock classification and ban the slaughter of dogs once and for all. Go to www.stopdogmeat.com to learn more.
