Fellow American,
Exactly 79 years ago today, our enemies waged war with America. They attacked Pearl Harbor and killed 2,403 Americans, including 68 civilians.
Now we honor December 7th every year as Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day, to pay homage not just to the brave men and women who tragically lost their lives that day, but to also remember the strength of America.
We did not sit idly by while our enemies attacked. We rallied and came together, and helped America and the free world rise up and defeat tyranny.
Americans are strong and resilient, and we’re never more reminded of that when our way of life is at stake. We rise up and face challenges head-on, and we always come out of them even stronger and better than we were before.
During these challenging times, I’m grateful for America’s fighting spirit. Our best days are still yet to come.
