Rootscamp, hosted by a coalition of progressive organizations, is an unconference where the content is organized by the attendees. The event will bring together progressive leaders and organizers to debrief the election and strategize about what we need to do next to build power in 2021 and beyond.
The event will offer workshops, trainings, panels, networking opportunities, visionary speakers, an organization expo, and provocative debates about strategy and best practices. There’s still time to submit a session, and we hope you do!

On Friday, the opening plenary will dig into the numbers behind the wins and losses and discuss lessons learned and successful strategies and narratives from key states. Then, you’ll hear from Democratic Secretaries of State on what they’ve learned from an election held during a pandemic and how we can ensure future elections are safe and accessible and that all votes are counted.
Saturday’s plenaries will focus on progressive policy change and how we can build long-term power. You'll hear from movement leaders on progressive policy priorities in 2021 and how we can hold the new administration accountable on the issues that matter most. The conference will end with a conversation featuring Georgia organizers and the upcoming Senate runoffs.
