Tomorrow morning, our President and CEO Dr. Jamila Perritt is speaking to Congress to share the negative impacts that abortion coverage restrictions like the Hyde Amendment have on the patients she provides care for each and every day.
 

Dr. Perritt will be joined by Dr. Herminia Palacio of Guttmacher Institute and Amanda Beatriz Williams of Lilith Fund, and together they will share why abortion care is health care that should be accessible to all patients, not just some.

Politicians must stop impeding people’s ability to access the health care they need. They must also stop interfering with health care providers ability to do their job. Physicians take an oath to provide compassionate care to those who need it. Insurance coverage bans on abortion care like the Hyde Amendment stand in the way of this oath.
