"The 2020 elections were ugly. The redistricting battles of the next two years will be even more brutal."

POLITICO isn't pulling any punches with their reporting -- nor should they. House Democrats are indeed on the "chopping block" thanks to redistricting, which, per POLITICO, is "turning safe seats into hotly contested battlegrounds."

In the words of Democratic Rep. Sean Patrick Maloney: "We must win the redistricting war. It is the battlefield that will determine the House majority. Period, full stop. It's absolutely critical."

That's going to be tough, friend. As FiveThirtyEight reported shortly after the election, "Republicans won almost every election where redistricting was at stake."

We don't want to lose crucial Democratic House seats to GOP gerrymandering. But right now, we're short on the funds we need to boost the progressives who need it the most.

The secret weapon of the Republican party has always been cheating. Their weakness has always been a large, committed coalition of grassroots activists coming in to stop them. Let's count on the GOP to capitalize on their strength -- it's up to you and us to exploit their weakness.
